Ranges
We have both indoor and outdoor ranges. Both of our outdoor ranges have covered firing points.
For live disciplines we can shoot up to 100 yards outdoor. We have an outdoor field target range for air. Shooting up to 25 yards is available for both air and live indoor.

Live Shooting
We shoot a variety of live disciplines at our Club including small bore (.22) precision rifle, sporting rifle, black powder, gallery rifle and pistol calibre carbines.

Benchrest
Our Club has some of the best benchrest shooting facilities in the country. Our teams have represented the UK in several postal, national and international competitions.

Air
Our air section shoots both rifle and pistol on our indoor range. Our outdoor air range is mainly for field target practice.

Competitions
We are a competitive shooting club and host several open, national and international shoots at our range every year.

Archery
Whilst not an archery club we do have facilties onsite and our members are always welcome to try out the sport with the help of one of our experienced archers.
About Portishead Shooting Club
Whether you are experienced in target sports or an enthusiastic beginner, Portishead Shooting Club can provide you with a safe and well-supervised shooting environment for small-bore and full-bore rifle, sporting rifle, long barrelled pistol, air gun and archery.
If you are new to target shooting our fully trained and experienced Range Officers are always on hand to provide instruction and advice, and whatever your age, ability and chosen discipline, you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
Shooting and range information
We have some of the best multi-discipline facilities in the region - our two outdoor ranges provide shooting distances varying between 10 and 100 metres and our indoor range 10 to 25 metres with a 25 yard facility. We are continually developing the Club to provide more variety and enjoyment for our members.
